Desiree Cosplay looks stunning as Red Sonja posing in the snow (brrr)! We love these shots, here's what she said about her cosplay...
"As a kid I used to run around the back yard swinging an old, rust-pitted prop sword that my dad had given me. In my imagination I was Red Sonja - the ultimate sword-wielding badass. Flowing red hair, prodigious sword skill and a sarcastic wit to rival Spiderman. My 8 year old self was totally smitten. As an adult I love Sonja for those same qualities, but also for her stalwart independence, courage, and perseverance. To me she is the original warrior chick, and it's so cool to have the opportunity to embody one of her incarnations. I also really enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills in order to create this costume. I wove all the scale maille myself, worked with leather, and used paint to weather some of the pieces."
